While working with a client recently she mentioned that she had hours of work to get done at her computer, but she was struggling to find a comfortable position to work in that did not aggravate her back and neck pain.
We headed into her home office and got to work making adjustments to improve her desk setup so that she could work without aggravating her neck and back pain. With some simple changes to her current setup and recommendations on a few affordable products to improve things further, she was well on her way to getting her work done with less pain.
If you work from home and are struggling to get comfortable in your home office, we offer home office ergonomics assessments as a stand-alone session or we can incorporate this into our normal treatment plans if you are dealing with other issues like neck or back pain that needs to be addressed.
Regardless of how good your office is set up, it's crucial not to overlook the importance of taking short breaks to move around every 30-60 minutes. Regular movement is essential for our bodies to perform optimally!
